Meredith Melnick is a multimedia journalist and current Digital Media Fellow at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.

Her work has appeared on Newsweek.com, Time.com, in the New York Daily News, CITY Magazine and House & Garden, among other publications.

She produced a web documentary on freight train riders and develops web sites and produces video for organizations such as the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and the Columbia Journalism Review.

Raised between New York and Jakarta, Meredith has also lived in Toronto, São Paulo, Salvador and Alicante.
